Series II: Coyote Predation Research, 1943 - 1998
Series II is comprised of five boxes of material pertaining to research on coyote predation conducted at the research station. Subjects include compound 1080 baiting, the M-44 coyote getter device, sheep mortality, and trapping. Types of records in this series include reports and correspondence.
Series III: 2019-2020 Accruals, 1985 - 2020
Series III Accruals consists of 3 boxes of physical materials, as well as digital files, collected from the Director’s Office during 2019-2020. Materials in this series are dated 1985-2020. Included are administrative, budget, informational, research, and personnel records.
Subseries 5: Management Analysis and Review (Research), 1997 - 2019
Subseries 5 contains research and historical records related to brown tree snakes, avian influenza outbreaks, livestock protection method development, and feral swine management. Also included are records related to the Hilo and Olympia field stations, technology transfer unit, and collaborations with CSU graduate students. This subseries contains a digital file with research needs assessments for 2011 and 2016.

Stan Thomas reminisces about his work for Wildlife Services, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). He reminisces about his experiences as a government trapper in predator control and research (primarily coyotes) and the different methods he used including traps, dogs, and aerial shooting. Thomas talks about his experiences with animals and various Wildlife Services employees.

The slides date from 1959 to 1996, with the bulk between 1980 and 1990. They document rodents, birds, predators, livestock, dogs, wildlife damage, animal damage control projects, and people.
