Mammal Damage Unit Records --
Over the years, the Mammal Damage Unit of the DWRC/NWRC conducted research on coyote predation on livestock; rodent damage to crops, rangeland, and buried cables; and damage to timber production and reforestation efforts caused by deer, bear, and rodents, particularly pocket gophers. The Unit also studied the use of pesticides as well as methods to identify and develop non-lethal or non-chemical alternative management methods for specific wildlife problems.

Series I contains one box of administrative records from the Millville, UT, Field Station dated 1970 to 1994. Included are correspondence, meeting minutes, funding documents, and records of safety and animal care inspections at the site.
Subseries 2: Budget, 2003 - 2019
Subseries 2 contains budget documents related to NWRC projects and field stations dated 2003-2019, as well as a history of WS appropriations and cooperative funding dated for 1986-2003.This subseries also includes digital files for NWRC project budgets for FY2009-FY2019.
