Larry Sanders reminisces about his current and past work for Wildlife Services, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). He speaks of his experiences as a government trapper in predator control and research (primarily coyotes) and the different methods he used including traps, snares, and dogs.

Abstract
In 2005, the USDA/APHIS Wildlife Services program (Wildlife Services) began work on the Trapping Oral History Initiative. Dr. John Shivik approached Nancy Freeman, NWRC Archivist/Records Manager, in July 2004 with an idea for capturing the experiences and knowledge of Wildlife Services trappers.
