Abstract

Teddie Statler reminisces about her career as the director's secretary at the Denver Wildlife Research Center. She describes the training that prepared her to work in the director's office, as well as directors and DWRC personnel, animals and research, and changes in the DWRC over time. Teddie shares stories that reveal the culture of the DWRC and what professional and personal life was like when she worked there.
