Scope and Contents

From the Series:

Arranged by region of the world, the country files represent the largest group of materials in the collection. This series includes correspondence, reports, research materials, and trip reports. Several of the Country files include brochures, embassy reports, and maps from locations where International staff traveled and worked. Images related to much of the research in Series I are located in Series III, which is also arranged by region of the world. Publications and AID Reports such as "War on Hunger" and "Front Line" that contain articles highlighting the work of International Programs or its staff are located within the appropriate Country files. However, some are located in the publications subseries of Series II. Many of the administrative records pertaining to work done on international projects are located in Series II.

Arrangement

Subseries 1: Africa, is arranged alphabetically into twenty-nine sub-subseries based on country name. Sub-subseries 1 contains general records from Africa, divided into file units according to record type.Folders within each sub-subseries are arranged alphabetically by title. Trip Reports are located at the end of each sub-subseries and are arranged chronologically.
