Books Using Oral History, 2004

Series II contains Nancy Freeman's research and correspondence related to the Trapper Oral History Initiative. The series dates from 1999 to 2009, with the bulk of the collection in 2004-2008. Much of Freeman's research involved communicating with other professionals via oral history listservs to obtain advice for how to proceed with the initiative. Series includes correspondence with Dr. John Shivik, Diana Dwyer, interviewees, and other APHIS personnel, meeting notes, project proposals and documents, grant applications, budget information, equipment research, the final report for the initiative, publications, and best practice guidelines for oral history interviews.
