Series I of this collection contains administrative records from the station dated 1969 to 1985. Included are lists of bird damage research projects conducted at the station, as well as work unit and narrative reports.

Series II consists of research reports dated 1972 to 1985. Included are reports on research related to frightening devices (kite-balloon), chemical repellents, and other means to alleviate bird damage to wine grapes, ripening fruit and vegetables, sunflowers, and rice.

Series III includes data reports and maps from the study “Bird Damage to Sunflower in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota, 1979-1981” by Roger Hothem and Richard DeHaven. This study resulted in USFWS Technical Report 15 (1988).
