Scope and Contents
Series III: Chemical Control – Compound 1080, 1956-1991, contains materials related to the use of Compound 1080 and other lethal control methods in bait stations and in the Livestock Protection Collar. Included are numerous maps that mark the locations of lethal bait stations on public and private lands. This series contains documents related to accidental dog poisoning incidents with the Coyote-getter. Materials concerning lawsuits are also included in this series.
Maps marking the locations of 1080 Lethal Bait Stations in Idaho (late 1960s-1972) were separated and are now located in Archives Workroom A205B, MCAB B, Drawer 15. Seperation sheets are located within folders in Series III.
