The Pre-Planning and Preparation series was received from Bill Dusenberry in 2001. It contains documents from 1994-2000 and contains all the pre-construction planning and research that occurred before the Outdoor Pens and associated buildings could be built. Includes cost estimates, architectural sketches, reviews, assessments, and email correspondences.

Series II: Construction, 2001 - 2004

The second series, Construction, arrived in 2003 and contains all documents pertaining to the actual construction process of the Outdoor Pens and associated buildings, such as blueprints, construction schedules, and changes to the original design plan. These documents cover the period of 2001-2004.

Series IV: The Systems Manuals series was received from Bill Dusenberry in 2003. It contains operations and maintenance manuals for various systems of the Outdoor Pen Project. The manuals are collectively known as Operations and Maintenance Manuals although some of the manuals have other names.
