Scope and Contents
This series contains bulletins, circulars, handbooks, manuals, leaflets, memorandums, and reports from the Bureau of Biological Survey (BBS). From 1903 to 1905 it was recommended that the Division of Biological Survey be recognized as a Bureau. In 1906, after twenty years of service as a Division, the Biological Survey became the Bureau of Biological Survey, and remained under this title until 1940. This series documents the work, results, general information about, and focus of the BBS.
