Scope and Contents
Series VI consists of historical images taken by Henry Jackson Spencer, who was the Gainesville Field Station leader from 1944 to 1963. Before that, Spencer worked at the agency’s Hawaii Field Station. Images in this series are dated 1935 to 1963. Subjects include facilities at the Florida and Hawaii Field Stations, rodent damage to sugarcane, bird damage to food crops, nutria habitat, and vultures.
