MAR GAO Audit - Supporting Documentation sent to GAO by NWRC, 1994

This series contains records relating to research projects at NWRC, including historical information. Materials in this subseries are dated 1955-2013 and originated in the Director's Offices, Administrative Unit, research scientists' offices, and other government agencies. Some folder titles were altered or given a common prefix such as "BTS Research" to group folders of similar materials.

Included in this subseries is the digital collection "MAR DoD EIS Marine Movement from Okinawa to Guam." APHIS was contracted by the DoD to conduct risk analysis on a DoD EIS for Marine training in the Pacific. WS was then tasked with risk analysis associated with terrestrial vertebrates (Drs. Randy Stahl and Christi Yoder) and wildlife diseases (Dr. Alan Franklin). Drs. Stahl and Yoder donated to the Archives their completed work and research as well as the final APHIS risk analysis that was submitted to the DoD in December 2010. Their work was almost entirely digital and accessioned on a CD. The digital files were arranged into folders that reflected the process of the risk analysis work: DoD APHIS Partnership, WS RA Project Plan, Meetings and Trips, Reference Materials, Risk Analysis, Final Report, and Project Presentation and Papers.
