Scope and Contents
The Chemical-Biological Data File contains information on all known chemicals tested by the DWRC from 1960 up until 1984 (when the data file was published). The Chemical-Biological Data File is made up of 14 volumes. The first volume contains the introduction and CAS RN-DRC# Cross Index. The remaining 13 volumes contain data sheets arranged by DRC#, and each sheet contains the following information: CAS RN, DRC#, Chemical Information System (CIS) sources of information, non-CIS references, molecular formula, structure, nomenclature, toxicological data gathered by DWRC, PWRC, and from the Registry of Toxic Effects of Chemical Substances (RTECS), and quality control information.
