Scope and Contents
This series ranges from 1941 to 1964. This series contains notes, professional papers, records, data, and reference materials relating to the chemical testing efforts at Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, a sister lab to the DWRC, in Laurel, Maryland. Testing at Patuxent began after World War II to find substitutions for restricted chemicals such as red squill and strychnine, and was under the supervision of James DeWitt.
