Scope and Contents
Subseries 1: Cable Test Studies contains study records dated 1961 to 1982 related to developing methods to protect buried wires and cables from rodent damage. Many of these studies were conducted in collaboration with other entities such as the US Army, Bell Telephone Laboratories, and DuPont. This subseries also contains records pertaining to woodpecker damage to telephone poles and other equipment. Images (including prints, slides, and negatives) are included with several of the reports in this subseries.
