Scope and Contents
This series was created by chemist Walter Bowles, who worked for the DWRC from 1959 until early 1980s. During his tenure at the DWRC, Bowles concentrated on research associated with new and untested chemical compounds. He also worked closely with colleague Edward Schafer on the development of the DRC numbering system and the DRC Chemical Compendium.
This series contains materials relating to the development of the DWRC Chemical Compendium. This series contains notes, data, microfiche, reference materials, publications, and the Pesticide Chemicals Official Compendium.
