Abstract

This collection contains bi-weekly committee meeting minutes from each unit involved in the Wildlife Services (WS) Pesticide Coordinating Subcommittee. The four units include the Environmental and Risk Analysis Services (ERAS), the National Wildlife Research Center (NWRC), Operational Support Staff (OSS), and the Pocatello Supply Depot (PSD). These units have changed names and organizational structure but still continue to meet. ERAS was known as the Data Support Team (DST) from 1997 to 2000 and Technical and Scientific Services (TSS) from 1990 to 1996. The NWRC was also known as Denver Wildlife Research Center (DWRC) from 1980 to 1996. Until 2019, the Pesticide Coordinating Subcommittee was called the Pesticide Coordinating Commitee, and this name is used for the records created prior to name change.

The Committee works together to ensure APHIS chemical-based vertebrate pest management tools are current and meet State and Federal regulations. The committee is also responsible for recommending the approval or disapproval of new or existing pesticide registrants, label changes, emergency exemptions, permits, and addressing and resolving other pesticide policy issues.
